Spark Plug Wire Pops Out= Bogging?

So lately my car has been trying to tell me something but I haven't understood it yet...maybe some of you guys have already.

I'd be driving normal, no high rpms or anything ricey. But lately my f22a1 currently at 190xxx miles, has been bogging while just driving! It's pissing me off! see the emoticon? that's me!...So when it first did the bogging. I pullover, pop the hood, and see that the farthest left Spark plug wire is unplugged but still sitting in the hole barely keeping the engine running. Basically this has happend about 5 times now. WTH is going on?

    No CEL, just bogging.
BUT!!! I DID also check inside my IM (while engine off) and flashed a light inside...it doesn't look clean, could that also cause bogging? If so how exactly would i clean my IM? Would i have to take it off and use Carb Cleaner or something like that? Im not sure. Fill me in!

    -Struts
    -Drop
    -Cleaning

    -Alot more lovin'

lol duct tape the wires to the cover!

i'd say replace plugs and wires first. you could run seafoam if you want but run it before you change the plugs and wires. if you do seafoam you have to do an oil change as well. try that and see what happens

well considering that you were probably running on less than 4 cylinders, i would assume youre PROBABLY going to feel bogging.

replace those plug wires, and hope that thats the only reason.

Wouldn't the wires pop out if they were wired in the wrong order??

a bad sparkplug seal would create this problem making it pop out.. does it smell like fuel in that cylinder?

The cylinder that keeps blowing out the spark plug wire is obviously leaking out the plug. Replace that plug and torque to spec of 13 lb-ft. If problem persists, you probably damaged the threads in the cylinder head for the spark plug in prior maintenance or whatever person that worked on it.

Your car is bogging because that cylinder is misfiring and/or not firing at all and running only on 3 cylinders. No plug wire connection to plug wire = no fire. Your motor probably doesn't have much power to even pass people on the highway.

And YESS you're right about not having much power to even pass people on the highway! It sounds like you've dealt with this before.

check the tightness of the plug for that wire. if it's loose, the compression could easily push it out.

lol now you can race a geo metro and have a close race. sorry to hear the prob. with your car but is sounds like to me like stated be4 that the compression is leaking out and pushing your spark plug wire out of the valve cover. If its leaking your threads might be fucked...Pop the hood start the car and put your hand over the spark plug that is giving you a prob. see if you can feel any leak coming out of the valve cover. That will tell you 4sure if your shit is leaking. Other than that you have to get more info from the experts on hear.

Dose it sound like a v8 w/ straight pipes when you put your foot into it?
Thats what my shit sounded like when I was running straight header and down pipe...and no I wasnt doin it to be cool or loud I had a flex pipe issue
