    cb7 not starting

    ok so heres the story.

I know I needed to do a oil change but I drove to los angeles on sunday (about 140 miles round trip) with no problems, car was starting as it should. On my way back I pulled over to pump gas, added 1/2 tank, then got back on the fwy and drove home. Later at night I drop off a friend and come back home, no problems yet, then yesterday morning my dad wanted to use my car but it would not start at all. We checked compression, oil, spark, fuel. So the car sat all day, last night I decide to give it a try, it was kinda cold(california cold) and it starts first try no problem, I let it idle and rev it for a couple mins, then I turn it off and try to start it again but now wont start again at all. What could this be?

I have also been noticing over a week now that if im at a steady speed, lets say 60mph/ 2500rpm as example, the rpm will drop shortly (about 300rpm) for like 1 second and come back up.

Could the fuel pump be bad?

BTW car is all stock 177XXX miles

if rpm's drop, it is most likely ignition related.

If your RPM's are dropping, Check the Distributor.

          Sound like electrical problem,
Check your electrical components, connections etc.

Maybe its just a bed contact some ware and its turns sensible for temperature...

          Use dielectric grease for connections.
