    Check Engine @ Startup.

Just like it says, I have a check engine light that flashes when I start my car in the morning. But when I turn it off, then on again, it doesn't re-appear.

Wondering if its a timing issue or something small. I do want to mention I have a battery relocation kit on my car.

    ~Thanks in advance.

Could be grounding issue. Something is grounding your diagnostic port.

No. I didnt try. Because it will not come up again if I turn it off. The car doesnt run different at all. Itr started to do it in January and does it periodicly. Although I timed it the other day and it stopped until I recently changed my Dizzy O-ring.

I try timing it and get back to you guys.

        ~thanks again.

So finally got around to jump the ECU and check the code. Got a code 41. Checked the 02 sensor. Seemed fine since I just replaced that and my cat in January. Looking around in the area, and noticed a wired was barely together. Its the sensor that goes from the dizzy to the thermostat housing. Im guessing without looking in my book its the water temp sensor (please correct me if im wrong).

I cleaned the wires from oil and dirt and then rewired it together. Cleared the codes and re-started the car. Didnt get a code and the temp gauge runs smoothly. Im hoping that solved it!

Also wondering, when is it a good time to change the H20 temp sensor? I didnt see it in my book.

Isn't that the wire that serves as one of the engine grounds? Having that off/loose can cause a variety of strange events from what I've read.

Car ran great for 3 days until this morning. Code 41 poped up again. Im going to change the coolant temp sensor and the O2 ( under warranty). Thinking of changing my DC Sports Header to the EX exhaust monifold.
