Fizzbob: True that, about the SR20 being a cheaper swap overall than an H22, but you gotta admit, pound-for-pound, mods for the SR are nowhere near as cheap as H22 mods, intakes, exhausts, camshafts, cam gears, valvetrain parts, underdrive pulleys, and so on and so forth. Then of course, there's "other" non-engine mods like suspension, body, interior. Of course boosting an H22 is another matter entirely!

BTW, still have that PS pump for sale? Ima innerested, PM or call me, (404) 429-9815.

Don't trade in your CB7. I love your car. It is just like mine. Mine is a 5sd. But you got the black steelies goin' on too.

I like s13's but I have a thing for CB7s. A sr20det swap would be nice but I am like everyone else in that it is cool to see peoples faces when a family car woops up on them.

The only thing I don't like is it just looks kinda Grandma-ish.
What do you mean it looks kinda grandma-ish. I think the CB7s look awesome. They are different. They have their own unique flare to them. But whatever you say.

i don't think it looks like a grandma car either. an old cadillac or oldsmobile is more like a senior citizen car. those nice big automobiles. i can't see how you view the cb7 as a gradma-ish car JDM CB, especially since you have the coupe which is even sportier. can you really see grandma cruisin' around in that?

            Get the other one

For the snow, nothing is better than AWD, beats FWD and RWD.
Get the Celica All-Trac Turbo. You can rest assured that with the money you can put in that car, you will woop many accords in your path while doing a midnight run on the streets.
And drifting takes more skill in it, since its AWD. I'd only recommend this car to someone who is more serious about racing, (street racers, not street ricers). If you only spend money on making your car look all pretty, this car is not for you.

Actually I have to disagree with you, The transmissions are not like the AWD Eclipse, they are much stronger and the whole car is very reliable w/o modifications, even while driving hard, like Auto-X/Rallying. The car was made specifically for rally racing in the WRCs, and any car that can survive that type of race is reliable. The transmission is very strong on the celica and can support up to 600hp. And the engine's internals are designed to withstand severe conditions, making it able to take on high amounts of boost with the iron block 3S-GTE, and it sprays oil on the bottom of the piston to cool it off. I myself spent months looking an All-Trac Celica in good condition, I bought one finally but had to do alot of work to have it running perfect. I guess the only reason why someone would sell this car is because it is crashed, or the motor was blown. That is why it is hard to find an All-Trac Celica in good condition.

Wrong. When an object is pulled there is less friction on it unless the force is completely horizontal then pushing and pulling it will get you the same amount of friction, but factoring in things such as the suspension etc. the force in this case is not horizontal.

Actually there IS more friction. You have to consider the weight and gravity. More weight is on the font so there is more force on the front wheels, which means.....More Friction. This is not true if you have a mid or rear engine setup. Also, when you stop, the g-force is sent to the front of the car, with any setup, and cause an even greater amount of friction.

I'm not trying to be an ass or anything it's just that I'm a physics major and when I see stuff like that I have to correct people. Like I said there are other factors that make fwd more stable, but pulling doesn't get you more friction. I had to prove that pushing makes more friction than pulling on my last exam and that was lots of fun.
