    a/c delete

attempting a/c delete, and some people are telling me if you take a/c condenser out the defrogger wont work or be as effective

    fact or fiction??

the defrost will still work but not as quickly/effectively. having the ac on at the same time as defrost actually takes moisture out of the air which helps reduce window fogging...but i ran my cb and now my 240 without ac and it works fine without it.

either way, if you remove the compressor, you might as well remove the evap and condensor, and all the lines, and the drier. Unless you plan on putting it back in some day. However, make sure that if you remove the evap unit from under the dash you buy the heater duct that fits in it's place. Otherwise you'll have no air blowin out your vents at all.
