does this mean its time for a new???

my 93 automatic coupe starts kinda rought (almost like if battery was low) and it just sounds rough like starter is slow or something, also a couple of days ago i left the lights on on my caddilac and about hour later battery died, i tried to jump start it but battery wasnt charging, after about 20mins my brother comes in his 93 integra (with the terminals loose) and charges the battery in less than 5mins...now my questions are

do you think starter may need to be replaced?
does the alternator sound like its not charging and needs replacing?

*side note* my cb has a big ass battery i think its an suv battery but it came with the car.

get a charging/starting system check done on both cars. many parts stores/garages will do it for free.

that will tell you the strength/health of your batteries and whether your alternator is charging properly.

    replace parts accordingly after diagnosis.....

It's possible your battery isn't putting out the cranking amps it needs to. How old do you think the battery is? I agree that it would be a good idea to take the battery to a battery/auto parts store and have them do a draw test on it.

i have to take alternator out to get it tested right? my battery even tho is big it does look kinda old. if something needs replacing ill do it but it will suck if i had to change battery, alternator and starter...its my daily driver and i do plan on making some mods but i hope i dont have to do anything to the car for atleast 2 or 3 months
