key gets stuck sometimes

I've noticed I have to jimy my key a little bit to get it to turn to the ACC and ON positions when starting the car. What part goes bad that would need replacement here?

I've got a entire spare ignition from my donor car from when I did my H22 swap. Its a brand new ignition w/ key and all...guy replaced it shortly before the accident. But I want to still be able to use my key, would I just replace the back part of it that has the wire coming out?

this is a very typical honda problem. Honestly, I would just get used to it and not bother with changing anything out. It won't get worse, at least mine hasn't and I've had it for 10 years. I know exactly what you are talking about and after this long I don't even notice it anymore. It's just natural to me now.

yeah...it just gets annoying, when i can't turn it on the first try like on newer cars. I'm just worried it'll break or something.

I have the same problem and have 3 extra ignitions. I just deal with it. I pull the key out fast untill it clicks.

so there really is no way of fixing it short of replacing the entire assembly and having a diff. key? yeah, in that case I guess I'll have to live w/ it.

Sometimes I have to wiggle the steering wheel abit...right before it locks. Then it goes. You learn to live with it.
