i know that there was a thread on here about this before but i was wanting to know if anyone found out what it might be. i fill up my car and when i do i have a really bad gas smell but only when i crack the windows. i am going to check all of my evap lines in the engine bay but is there anything that i need to check from the tank if any one has had this problem please help its getting bad.

When you check for the leak, check it running and look for a spray or tiny stream. I could barely smell fuel in my coupe a few months ago, but when I pulled over and popped the hood, the fuel supply line for my nitrous had started leaking at the solenoid. (Probably not your problem)
The reason I tell you is that even though I could barely smell it, it was easy to see with the car on and the fuel pumping under pressure, it was about an 1/16 inch diameter stream squirting up into the air. When I shut the car off, it leaked off pressure until it didn't show up anymore.

well i checked the engine bay with it running before but never saw a leak i think is all of my evap lines running from the tank to the bay or something because i only get the smell if i fill the tank from 3/4- fullComment
