if you're putting a new one in there, just use a good strong pair of vise grips and clamp down on it. Then take a hammer and knock it loose. Works everytime for me.

And to prevent this from happening NEXT TIME, throw on some anti seize for sure! And alot of it. If there is some already on the new one, just put more on it!

Just go for a 5-10 min drive till it heats up and it will be so much easyer. Just be careful not to burn yourself.

Just get a map gas torch. It will come out with little to no effort if you get it red hot.

[QUOTE=Shag Wagon;2423357]I had the same problem with an original O2 sensor in a 210k mile Integra.

Funny, my car is at 210k on this header, with the orig O2 sensor. I guess thats gotta be why it has a rough idle.

Well, thanks guys for all the tips and tricks. I picked up some PB and sprayed it for the guys at the shop I just cant keep breaking my neck over this. $60 shop time, hopefully. They said they may need to thread chase it, so it could be $80. I paid $67.99 for a Denso O2 sensor, and i told them to put the anti-seize on.

My 02 sensor isn't on my manifold on my SE, but it is on my LX.

Are they compatible with each other? I need to replace the one on my SE cuz I have hesitation while cruising and have code 43 flashing.

Im not to sure, I know that my DX has a 92 EX motor, with a A1 header- 1 O2 sensor in the manifold. I think if theres two, ones a Primary, ones a secondary. I dont think you can interchange them. Your best bet is to pick up a new Denso for $68 and not worry about it.
