Clogged kitty? Does your cat glow red when you romp on it for a decent distance?

hondas dont run lean...ever atleast obd1, obd2 was more eviroment oriented, they ran leaner.
Which motor do you have, and how much do they glow?
        My H22 headers glow....

Check your vavle lash adjustment. I remember reading they can cause high temperatures, burning valves.

The motor is stock, the headers are cheap, the same ones i have on my other car, i just finished hooking up the egr, cleaning it, etc also i istalled Balance shaft belt (no more vibrations) an also physical timing is dead on, the headers dont glow that much now. The only thing i still havent done is o2 but surprisingly have been able to get over th 320miles on each tank, if i were my car i wouldnt really be paying much attention but its th lady's an apparently she deserves the best, also its fucking fun trying to make everything work like its supposed to, imagine i even hooked up. Iabs on the damn car, so much shit i gave to people who hooked up iabs. Should i bother trying to put back the charcoal canister. This is in sake of mpgs. Not performance anymore. Thanks

320 miles to the tank isn't really that impressive considering how huge our tanks are.

370 was filled tank to its dripping point and only 4 times a week for 10miles a day till it shut off

                            that's extreme mpg to me
on a current note i never run the car out of gas

i still wonder if the o2 is such a bad culprit
ive seen people here getting 400+ miles
this is a completely rebuilt engine

                            egr cleaned, intake manifold cleaned
                            head done
                            pvc eliminated
                            charcoal canister eliminated
