Rear engine / motor mount

Hey guys my rear engine / motor mount is pretty much done for and i need to get a replacement. I have a 93 automatic LX 10thann edition and i was wondering if i could run a rear engine / motor mount from a manual transmission CB?

i read that the rear auto / manual mounts are different, something about a solenoid? Do i have to get the bracket also?

The manual and automatic rear engine brackets are both different due to the height of the mounting point. The automatic mount has a higher mounting point than the manual one. You can probably get it to work though but the engine wont sit to spec. Both mounts bolt up the same way/same bolt pattern

Aren't the auto rear mount and the EX 5spd mount the same fitment?

arent they different in bolt pattern? cause i have a 90 coupe 5spd & i also have a 91dx auto 4dr if im not mistaken from what i saw on both cars is that the 5spd has a 3 bolt pattern and the 4dr auto looked to me as a 4 bolt pattern couldnt really see the 4dr all that great but i did see a difference.

Just fill yours with poly and be set for life.

nevermind i thought you was talking about the mount itself but i think you meant the subframe right?

Yeah I was talking about refilling the rubber part with polyurethane.

fill it with the mcmaster stuff. and make sure you dont over do it and beware that youll have a big bubble on one side and flat on the other side. Some people use alumnum foil instead of ductape. the ducttape method was booboo for me. Also once you do it it may requre some trimmuing of the olyurthane itself to get it all gloved up, later./
