Electrical problem on ek civic: need everyones help!

So yesterday i did exhaust work on my buddies ek. and after it was all said and done, i went to go clear the codes the ecu had. after i cleared them, we took it out for a spin and the lights were more dim and speedo didnt work.

but like half hour before i cleared it, we took it out for a spin and everything worked fine. so i check the fuses and the alternator/sp sensor fuse was blown. put another one in. start the car drive it, same thing. check the fuse again, its blown again.

    what could be the problem?

It could also be a bad connection. Whatever you loosened, check it again.

92smoke, please take three bucks to a thrift store and buy a keyboard with an "o" on it. That shit is annoying.

            LMAO thats awesome!

But a bad alternator doesnt always pop fuses. Try unplugging the alternator and see if you still are popping fuses. You possibly have some kind of short in the alternator or your harness is screwed up. Multimeters are like 2 bones at harbor freight and I suggest everybody here buy one and learn to use it hahaha. I finally figured that out after everybody I know had some stupid little electrical gremlins with their junk.
