how would be able to tell if my iab is working or hooked up right

Watch the end of the IAB rod while someone starts the car and revs the engine a couple of times, if it moves, they work.

I was told you will b able 2 move the iab arm when car is off, and when its on, due to vaccum, suppose 2 close and your not able to move it.

Now if u have your iab's hooked up properly, they suppose 2 open at w/e rpm they open at, some ppl say 4200, some say 4600.

If you have your iab's hooked str8 to the plenum and u rev, they will open, but that's like at 2000 rpm, way 2 early, u wll acutally loose some bottom end.



There's a thread here, importance of iab plate, seach that and you'll see wat im talkin about.

Rite now my iab's aren't workin, when car is on they r still open and I can move the diaphram by hand with ease.

I rather have them open all the time, than hookin them up str8 to the plenum havin it open at 2k rpm, and closin.

Once you read that thread, and plz do, ull understand.

The plug to check to see if my solonoid on the iab's are worin rite s nearly inpossible 2 get to. Wtf

yea cuz im running my h22 and the diaphram is hooked to the pen.
