Bent Radiator Support....

Well I had a wreck where my front end bottomed out and the frame where the radiator sits is bent, but I cant really tell how all i know is that I had to bend the bottom part out with a hammer(the bar under the condensor) so the radiator could get back in.

My question: Is this part swappable?, or is it a part of the frame because I have huge plans for my cb like paint and such but I now have a gap between my hood and fender because of this but really dont know what needs to be straighten

If its the bottom of the support then it cannot simply be swapped out by bolts. It has to be welded. The top can be bolted off/on

So can I like take it to a body shop and they straighten it out for me and i just pay the cost? which i hope isnt too much

I just did something like this with my car, in a similar incident. I ended up taking 2 long ass metal poles and slowly bending the mount back into place. I looked all over and no, it can't be unbolted and replaced. Careful using my method though, I ended up bending the AC condensor a little (which I ended up just bending back into place anyway... ). It wouldn't be a bad idea to get a shop to fix it for you though. After I finished with mine and got the radiator back in place I found that my left mount was still about 1/2 an inch too high, resulting in me "forcing" all the brackets into place ontop of the radiator. Mine works now, though. Strangely enough I have yet to see the fans come on since the crash, yet the car has yet to overheat...
