Maybe someone can give me some advice. The a/c has not worked since last year, I filled it back up and tried to run the a/c but no cold air is coming out. The cars idle drops lower, and when your under the hood you can hear a constant loop....click, fans spin for about 5 seconds, click, fans spin for about 5 seconds. Is this normal? Whats the problem here?

Is your compressor turning on? it should have a click then run a little slower idle then about 45 sec later it should go away. also what did you service it with R12 or new stuff R134? have u converted it?

Its been converted and filled, but I think the problem is that it has to much pressure from what I have read elsewhere.

When it clicks like that and runs on and off, its more than likely it has extremekly low pressure, it probably leaked out somewhere. Take the cap of the line towards the firewall and use your finger to press the valve to see ifd that maybe has a constant leak. If you cant figure it out take it to a shop, shits getting hot outside.Comment
