Main relay question.

The car has been sitting for a while and i start it atleast ever 2 weeks and now that i have my turbo rebuilt and ready the car wont start i have full fuel pressure i was having problems with spark some times it would spark and sometime it wouldnt but know it sparks like it should. But it wont even hit on starting fluid I also had problem at first with the fuel i had fuel pressure and some times not. My ? is the main relay clicks when i turn the key on...... then again, and when you turn it over it clicks then when you quit turning it over it clicks. so i was wondering how many times does the damn thing energize. thanks for any help

If you have full fuel pressure and your sure about that, its not the main relay, crank the car for up to 20 seconds if possible and see if a CEL comes on. Im betting that #15 comes on and its the igniter inside the distributor.

I swapped relay and its the same thing as for codes i have a code 6(water temp sensor) and when i swapped the stock ecu in it popped up a #7 (throttle position sensor) im going to start testing some stuff this afternoon but i have no other cels showing up i wish i did ..i might know where to start

I didnt crank my car up for a week and when I fired her up today I had to use some starter fluid to get her going.

Fixed the starting problem today it was a 1/4 turn out of time how it done that i dont know i guess im going to be replacing it now so i dont have to worry about it anymore but now i have a new problem the engine wont rev above 2200 rpm so i got a new tread to start thanks for the input
