    Prelude F22b2 ruff idle misfire

ok so i recently picked up a 95 prelude with a f22b2 motor it has the m2f4 tranny

problem is it has a real ruff idle idles around 600 i just changed the plugs with ngks and it idles higher but still has the mis fire

so far other than plugs check the coil with a known good coil.

    tomarrow i plan on doing:

changing injectors and cleaning out egr (its throwing code for egr) i also get cel code 1 which is o2 i believe. all my past hondas ive never had a real issue with running with a bad o2.

also plan on checking iacv and other things of that nature.

my question is do you think what ive listed will fix this issue what else should i look out for.

    ON A SIDE NOTE:

while in neutral at a stop clutch in i try to put it into 1st it absolutely refuses to with out forcing it to no end if i can manage to get it in it dies (stalls). after failing to get it in 1st ill either have to put it in 2nd which is hard to do as well and gas it real good to get going. shifting through gears is hard. if i dont put it in 2nd at a stop ill have to shut it off and start it in first but if i dont take off immediately itll die.... PHEW! ok well i know this means the clutch isnt fully disengaging but what can i do.. ive bled the clutch for about five mins and i see no air coming out just stream of fluid.. also the pedal itself is stiff.. much stiffer than my h22 accord i had. ANY ideas on this would be great.

thanks guys hope you can help.

    UPDATE:::::::
i just finished swapping injectors (mulitiple ones) and came to the conclusion that the number 3 cylinder isnt firing and i believe its not firing at all if i unplug the wire it doesnt effect it at all. i suppose the next thing to do would be to check the compression. ill do that and go from there if its good i suppose ill replace the wires and if that dont fix it. do you guys think it could be the resistor box?

    later.

You mean cylinder 3 is dead? Yes, I say do a compression test on it next.

About your trans issue. It sounds like either your syncros is gone, but you say it stalls when it goes in, that tells me that your clutch system has massive air in the line or is damaged.

How old is the clutch? Mine did this exact same thing 2 years ago and it turned out the clutch was toast as 1 of the springs came out of the clutch. (other 3 fell out when I flipped it over) Might want to check it out......

Pic of what I am talking about.....

          3 CB's gone....
          1 WK Overland....

Still miss the CB though......maybe one day.

hey i removed the pic to quote you but update on that is that if i pump the clutch it will go in but say i have to stay at a stop for awhile its like the air slowly enters the system again so im thinking slave cyl. or master but im gonna change the slave first..

also my gf's dad forgot compression tester today so im gonna try throwing a new cap and rotor on..

ill let ya guys know what happens.
            thanks

edit: im not too sure how old the clutch is but i was told it wasnt that old when i bought it. he said its a ACT Heavyduty clutch
