Im having a prob with my trans shifting sometimes someday it works good sandsome days it wont down shift . when i stop at the light i have to turn the car off and crank it back up so it will move and shift. If im coasting at 55mph it will jump back in high gear. I have to pull over and cut it off wait a min start over .I change the tcu ,then I drain and refill fluid and clean the shift modules on the outside of the transmission .I still have the problem but not as bad as before. what do i need to look into next to stop this prob in it;s tracks.

Since you didnt mention, and reading your little descriptions here and there, i know you have an automatic transmission.
When you did the drain and refill, did you run the shifter through every gear for 30 seconds and recheck the level to fill?
If not, that is your next step to do. -
oh yeah i made sure i did that everything checked out . i test drove it again and it still drag during shifting at the beginning after a couple of min it will shift ok it held at 55 for 3 to 4 miles so far. im thinking shift modules may be the problem i just have to see.Comment
