first thing i do is take the spring out of the air boost valve. running an automatic ecu will cause this also. try turning the idle down.

ok today i made a block off plate for the fitv come back with no luck still doing. so i took off my intake and pluged the hole closest to the firewall and it idles perfect at 800 rpm. what is this port? if i plug the one on the bottom it idles good but its at 1500. is that the iac?

if it were bad? yeah, code 14. If left unplugged as means to block it off, that won't work @ all, has to be left plugged in or a resistor could prob. be used.

There's 2 inlets in the t/b's bore, top = IACV bottom = FITV

ok if i plug the top with my finger it ildes perfect. but this is the 3rd iacv, if i plug just the bottom one it also idles ok but not as good as with the top one plugged.
if i plug both of them it idles really low for a minute and then it dies, but not instantly.
so with no cel coming on from the iacv than it must be ok correct?

fitv is now blocked off along with air boost valve. still having the idle problem. i have stumped two local nonda dealers witrh this problem. one dealer is saying head gasket and the other just has no answer.

only other thing i can think of is time for a intake manifold gasket job.
