turns out i was not firing at all in cylinder 1 and only part firing in 3 and all the plugs r burnt to hell so new plugs r in the plats and soon as it warms up im replacing the valve cover gasket because it has a tear over cylinder 1 and let a little oil in not much tho so life is ok... but she cranks up like a new car now

and i plan to upgrade my ignition system as i get the money and as it gets warmer. next is wires =)

Interesting... Every plug over the V power's are platinum, and what came stock on them are Gpowers, which are platinum. If your running Vpowers in there (judging by the price) your loosing power, fuel economy, and your exhaust probably stinks. And if your in canada, we use Ethanol, so heat range change is recommended (directly from NGK)

Platinums are a waste of money on a stock 4 cylinder man... If you don't wanna take our advice then why ask for our input on said subject?

Of course it is running better. 1 plug was bad causing you to run on 3 cylinders.... Thats like me saying i put silk sheets on a 30 year old matress. That is over kill for the application.

I understand you are wanting to eventually upgrade all of your ignition items. However since you are running stock parts runa plug similar to a stock plug. When you took out your old plugs l am sure they were not plats.

Id like to see the tech sheet you were looking at.

                  http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/product...ugs/gpower.asp

You should really consider what's being said here. Ive been in the automotive business for almost 5 years, Ive read so many tech sheets it would blow you away. Gpowers require less power to ignite, give better spark, and also burn cleaner (also depending on vehicle/location) I dont recommend anything lower then Gpower, and every customer has been more the satisfied.
