    Transmission troubles.

so i finally got me car up and running again(after blowing a head gasket and needing to replace the seals in me distributor). well i took it out on the road, around the block, needed to get an oil filter wrench from my dads place.

now the problem is that i only had second and third gear. someone explain that too me. i was going to do a tranny flush and replace the filter, but i recently found out that i have to drop the whole tranny to do that.

anyone have any suggestions as to what might be the problem?

Did you drain and replace the fluid before starting it?

And how many miles you got on this car(im assuming its a cb)

Your not suppose to do flushes over 100k right? Just drain/refills?
