Intake manifold gasket question- answer needed quick!!!

If I take off my IM to change a coolant hose, do I need a new gasket when replacing it?

A quick answer would be preferred. I wanna get this done before my enemy the sun show himself....

almost a 100% of the time, yes you will need a new one. I can almost guarantee you that its going to rip when you take the IM of, and you dont want a tear in your seal, it will cause erratic idling. Buy a new one.

i know your question has been answered but just a heads up, if you want to you can buy the bisi gasket and not ever have to worry about it breaking on you when you take the manifold off again.

Its a heatshielding gasket, it keeps the intake manifold up to 50*F cooler then the engine/head, which helps keep air intake temperatures down. Supposedly every 6-7*F drop in intake air temperature is good for 1hp.
