set base idle(look in sticky on beginners)
make sure throttle cable isnt to tight
    clean iacv(idle air control valve)
check your fitv(cant remember what it stands for lol)
make sure the spring on your pedal isnt worn out

I'm having the same problem on my H22..I already swapped in 3 different FIVs and IACs with no cure. I'm thinking it might be my intake manifold gasket that its leaking from.

I've got an older model Hondata (white color) so it may be cracked since it is made out of that thicker plastic, thereby letting air in. I'm going to take apart the intake mani one of these days and find out if my assumption is correct.

ha took me 5 mins to fix it after spraying water all over the intake and vacuum hoses. i said to me self, "self, did you check the throttle cable?" my self said " no i didnt let me check that now.." so i pushed on the throttle cable assembly on the throttle body and low and behold the idle dropped. so now car idles at a steady 850 to 900 rpm. Phew crisis averted, i am glad its not the intake gasket..
