Okay so i recently posted a thread about my oil pan leaking. Well i got that all fixed but now shes leaking again! There appears to be a plug right under the oil filter that seems to be leaking. Im not sure what it is. If someone could post up a pic of the back of an f22a1 block i could easily point it out. I just degreased the entire back of the motor 3 days ago and its already soaked in oil again so its hard to tell exactly where the leak is coming from but like i said if someone could please post up a block pic i could point out where it seems to be leaking. Id post one but i can't find one thats a good clear shot. Thanks!

The only places where oil should be coming from the back of the block would be the oil drain plug or the oil pressure sender under the intake manifold.

So where is your leak? In case your wondering, those are temperature senders that are mounted into the different drain plugs on the block for my aftermarket/auxilary gauges.
Heres what they look like before being tapped (left coolant, right oil):

The piece on the top of the brass T fitting is the factory oil pressure switch:

Just out of curiosity, how do you know it's that plug that's leaking?Originally posted by hondakid1996 View PostThe larger plug under the oil filter is where the leak seems to be coming from. Thanks for the pics btw!Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. I am the smartest person I know : )

Well what I'm getting at is that the oil pressure sensor, oil filter, and oil drain plug are all in line with each other. Just because the oil is dripping from the plug does not mean it's what's leaking. I would look at the pressure sensor and oil filter before I go and pull the drain plug.Originally posted by hondakid1996 View PostBecause that is where the majority of the oil is and it all radiates around that area. I still need to clean up the block again and get it in the air for more inspectigating.
It's VERY unlikely the drain plug would be leaking, unless someone has removed it before now.Last edited by dj_ender; 05-17-2012, 02:27 PM.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence. I am the smartest person I know : )

F's don't have cam plugs....Originally posted by 92accordcb7ex View Postwell as far as the cam plug seal you cant really tell just by looking at it. you have to take it out because there is like 3 different seals on it so its hard to tell just by looking at it.Originally posted by Mishakol129Do not disrespect my intelligence.
