    Little Air Flow Through Vents.

I recently uninstalled my blower motor to replace the Relay, I reinstalled blower works completely fine but now I'm getting almost no air-flow through the vents

I've checked to see that the electronic motor (Driver side) that controls the vents and they seem to be working fine but im certain something is blocking the air flow.

Anything that I'm over looking ?

    Thanks in advance

Our cb7 don't have cabin filters. So all the dirt and debris get glogged in the evaporator. Its under the dash. And left of the blower motor.

A bad blower motor resistor can cause the problem your describing. When my blower motor was on its way out, I barely had any air flow too. Does the air flow ramp up with each turn/notch of the fan speed switch?

Yeah, I vacuumed the evaporator as suggested when removing and reinstalling blower motor. There was a bunch of debris but that was something that I cleaned before reinstalling.

This was the reason for removing the blower motor, the resistor was replaced with a brand new one so I'm ruling that out. The air does increase with the turn of the switch and the blower motor blows at a pretty good speed but for the life of me I can't figure out why its not completely going through the entire system.

Just to be clear, the air flow is suppost blow in the direction of the evaporator

Make sure the connections of ducts are not bleeding air out, not delivering all air to vents.

The vent system is not that complicated, if you replaced the resistor, I would say the motor itself is probably bad, swap it out with a new one and see if it makes a difference, otherwise you can always take it back to where you bought it.

if the motor is making any kind of ticking noise then its on its way out, the brushes are probably worn down.

No Ticking noise, I completely took Aprt the motor and filed down the ring where the brushes make contact because the motor got stuck once and a friend suggested the filing because te brushes where pretty worn down. I reesembeld it back and noticed the air flow was blowing great but when mounted I noticed the pressure of the air coming through the vent was very low.

The blower motor blows with great speed so this is what is confusing the hell out of me

Ive read somewhere I the form a while back about a vent getting stuck but haven't had luck finding the thread

                  Update.

So I took apart then blower motor and notice while sitting up how it's suppost sit installed the blower decreased in speed and as soon as I turned it sideways (Fans facing up) it would increase speed of the blower motor again

I moved it around still in casing and it would stop, slap it a little and it would start right back up. So I have no other reason why It wouldn't be the actual blower motor thats shot or on its way to crapping out.

yep, thats your motor going out. I used to have to smack the bottom of the blower housing when mine was crapping out to get it going.

I rarely use mine because when i turn it on the engine runs like shit. Would this be a bad resistor ?
