I had a z6 build along time ago everything under the sun was thrown at it it acted as if it had a fuel cut then it wouldn't but was always extremely weak. Turn's out the place i had to do my machine work milled about .0010 passed the limit on the head so it through the timing all out of wack and it made piston to valve contact aswell put my mild b7 head on it an it ran like a top.
I'm not saying for sure it's timing, but i've seen it time and time again all's that has to happen is a weak tensioner or an improper timing procedure.
Did you happen to reset the ecu? or bleed your system after the "new" IACV? the reason i ask is if the system is low of coolant or has a good amount of air in it it will throw a IACV cel as my B1 build did and all's it took to rid the cel was bleeding and coolant aswell as a reset. Didn't happen to losing or bump the thermostat housing grounds did ya?
