    Towing maintenance and A/T cooler?

    Hi Everyone ,

So next year im getting my motorbike licence (Probably some sort of cbr)... Anyways i will need to tow the bike 3 hours & 220kms a few times like 3 or 4 times. Should i invest in an A/T Cooler?, My neighbor down the street has towed with his cb7 since new and he has never had an issue. And does anyone know a good hitch company im thinking of getting a hayman reese, also is their a harness for towing in the car already?

    Thanks

    Anthony

There is a plug in the trunk(at least on USDM cars) but I have NEVER seen an OEM harness for this plug. It would be effortless to make with a spare plug from the junkyard and a bit of wire but as far as there being an OEM one floating around, no luck so far. I, too, have looked into a towing hitch but haven't moved on anything yet because of the possibility that there could be an uber-rare OEM part out there.

The harness is no problem haha my father used to install hitches back in the day rofl. And apparently there is one on a 93' accord at the local wreckers thats genuine honda however its welded on :/

We already have a transmission cooler built into the radiator. I don't see the need for another.

Drivers side, under the quarter panel lip, right next to where the trunk would come down. You need to remove the siding to see it.

make sure when you start towing you change your trans fluid regularly too so you dont wear out your trans . change between every 15k to 20k miles should be good
