This was my street monday around 11am. I came outside my house and sat in the car getting ready to go and it was like a hurricane came over us. I got trapped in my car and tried to wait it out. Then i rolled the window down to this scene and having water up to the door molding of the car. Since my car rakes in the back the whole rear floor started to flood. Then a truck came speeding past me and the wave of water picked the car up off its wheels and slams it into the curb and moves me about an inch away from my neighbors car(about 5 feet).
The rain subsided and as soon as it did i panicked, started the car up and drove off out of the the river i called home. The car was running fine as usual and didnt make any wierd noises. I got to the end of the block and it shuts off and gave me hell to start back up but it did and was fine. As soon as i got to the next light and tried to turn, it had shut off again. This time , it wouldnt start back up no matter how much i cranked it. This no start was it accompanied by my check engine light not going out. So i had left the car where it stood and later that night me and my mom pushed the car back home(i love my mom
)Yesterday i before pulling codes i thought about my gas.i cant read the meter because it always reads full. And i knew i need gas some i put some. Checked the ecu if it was wet since i pulled the carpet and it was still dry. Checked the intake but it was dry too since its a short ram. Pulled the codes and i got a 15. I checked spark and there is none. My coilpack is a year old so i did a check on my igniter and from what the book specs says i think its toast.
Now im still worried about my fuel pump because i knew i was low on gas but the car didnt sputter or anything, just died when i came to a stop. Does anybody know how to check the fuel pump? Honestly i never heard mine ever turn on only the clicking of the relay and waiting for the check engine light to turn off.
Thanks in advance!
