Hey guys,
It's been a while that I was last on here. But my car was bought 2nd hand, in great condition. The timing belt, water pump, seals were replaced in 2005 with 107,101 miles on it. It's now 2013, and it has 158,400 miles on it. Should I replace the timing belt, water pump, and seals now. It's been only about 51,000 miles and it's recommended at 90,000 miles. But it's been 8 years since it was replaced. I have never done it myself, so I would get a shop to do it. I was quoted $400 but not sure if would trust a shop with my baby. I think I would get 4 seals replaced, but what are they? Are there more than these 4?
Any one near the Fullerton, CA 92833, area that could help with this task? The coolant are regularly replaced at 30,000 miles or less. Never had any fluid leak, and the car is clean. I recently got a little distributor o-ring leak, which is not a lot, but a little wet below the dizzy. I replaced that in 2008 when I got it. I wonder why it would leak so soon after. So where could I buy the o-ring locally? I see autozone sells it, Dorman brand for $1.99 but which one? They sell a few different one. Any one knows that part number?
Thanks.
