    TCU code 14

Ok so I got my TCU issue fixed it was a wire issue on the solenoid. Now my parents is having trouble it was throwing a million different codes. So I redid the TCU with I think it was cloudasc TCU fix. And Now it is just throwing one and it's code 14 which is the lock up solenoid I believe. I replaced the lock up solenoid no luck. Any other ideas?

I would replace the entire TCU, then see what it throws if any.

Did you replace both? I remember there is an A and B. Were they used or new? Spend the $, and I know they are expensive, but go with new. Also make sure they are seated completely flush and nothing is leaking. Check again the plug, it may be messy. I lucked out that it was only the top one..But I put the stay bracket UNDER and all the fluid came out. Refill with Honda transmission fluid. Last ..I don't know if you need to clear the TCU ...I don't know how to do that...I think you take out the fuse under hood and then turn the key....then put it back in. Something like that.
        Good Luck!

If you have tried multiple TCU's, and also have tried different solenoids, then I would bust out a test light, and start checking for continuity between the appropriate pin on the TCU, and the lock up solenoid.

Maybe this will help you in checking the electrical:

I don't have the problem but one day I may. I can't understand those charts and would like to have a DIY on how to check. I don't even know how to use a test meter...I can't be the only one.... maybe I am?

I'm confused.......How do you tell a 14 tcu code from a 14 ecu code? When you do the paper clip thing and it flashes a 1 and 4 ...how do you know if it's tc or ec?
                  14 ECU would be this:

                  14 TCU would be this:

                  Am I correct?

I can't see the pics as i'm at work. But when you watch the D light flash when jumping the blue connector. It does the same as a ecu so you have the ecu code displaying as the cel light and the tcu displaying as the d light or s light in some accords.

So let me understand....the D in the AT transmission display(P-R-N-D4-D3-2-1) will flash for the TCU? Which "D"? Or the "S" light? What is it for MT?

And the dash check engine will flash for the engine? Right?

I have (luckily) have never seen a D or S light flash..only the check engine.

90-91's have a Sport Light, that is what flashes the code for the TCU at you. For 92-93's, since they don't have a Sport Light, the D4 flashes the codes at you in the same manner the CEL flashes at you.

Sport Light / D4 Flashing = TCU Codes
CEL / Check Engine Light = ECU Codes
