I would try just unplugging it and takeing the vacuum line off and see if that can diagnose if thats really what it is

Have you cleaned and re assembled the throttle body and adjusted the throttle cable? Seems like you already dialed in your tps and tinkered with the idle valves?

The throttle body looks to be pretty clean. At least it hasn't got any dirtier in the years I've owned it. Also the throttle cable is a mechanical problem. Mine is definitely electrical.

Today was fairly cold, 40s. Didn't have any problems today.

So I've been running the new ECU all weekend in both hot and cold weather. Runs like a champ. Idles right between the 800 and 1000 mark. Drives smooth in all conditions. So it was definitely the ECU. I wonder what could be wrong with it to make it only run bad with hotter intake temps?

In the ECU, there is this cool/strange looking chip with a hole in it. I think it's like an atmospheric pressure sensor or something of that nature. Maybe it failed?

The problem was only intake air temp related. Just weird.

That's why I just guessed that maybe because of that broken sensor, the ECU was seeing erroneous data? I dunno.

I have literally this exact same problem with my H, your video is what I was dealing with every single day (til I bought another car). Mine recently sat for the past 9 months, took it out the other day. I was praying the problem would be gone. Nope. The only difference I have in my symptoms is that it isn't weather related. Exact same results though, and I am also running the p13. Was hoping I wouldn't need to get an ecu for this issue. Did you ever attempt to adjust your tps while this was going on?

Nope. But it's all good now.
