I've been having this issue with my power mirrors for the last few years, but it's been pretty sporadic (normally goes away after a few weeks) so I've never bothered really looking into this before. The problem's back again and it's just really annoying so I decided to post here to see if any of you had any ideas on how I can fix this.
Anyway, the problem is that the mirrors will act like I'm pressing the button to move them to the right, even though I'm not. So if I switch the thing from the middle spot (not on any mirror) to one of the two mirrors, as soon as I switch it, the mirror that I put it to will start moving towards the right. If I then press the "left" direction on the movement pad thing, it will stop the mirror from moving right, but it wont move left. Pressing "down" makes the mirror move down and to the right, and pressing "up" makes the mirror move up and to the right. This is really annoying because any time one of my mirrors becomes slightly off, it's a biiiiitch fixing em. The driver's side isn't that bad, but the passenger side is a pain in the ass. Like I said, this problem usually goes away after a couple weeks (happens a couple times a year).
Anyone heard of this before or know what I should be looking at? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything about it.
