Have you checked your spark plugs? There could be oil in the spark plug tube and this will coat the plug itself. The oil causes a misfire.
They were replaced right before I purchased the car. I removed them, cleaned, set the gaps, anti-seized the threads then reinstalled. I'm going to replace them here in the next week or so as it's about time.

hell if you have any fluid dye drop some in the tank and check for leaks honestly sounds like a pressure bleed problem, could also be the cam lobes are worn or timings off. Just spit balling these idea's, but i will note one situation i had on my old 68 chevy we bought a brand new carb from a local carb shop back in NM and it would start up just fine but after 25-30 just start sputtering and stalling, the fuel filter that you put in the carb was causing to much restriction and this was after replacing the fuel pump with oem and then an electric one. We removed filter everything was fine so double check your filter you pointed out was new, but tbh it really sounds like a bleed.

*side note buy some seafoam drop 1/3 in the gas tank on low fuel 1/3 in oil and the rest suck thru the pcv reved at about 3k and suck really slowly when your almost out drop the rpm's and bog and kill the engine sucking up the last little bit. saved myself about 6 mpg doing this the first week i had it

        That's coolant in cylinder one.

I tried I different set of fuel injectors along with all new o-rings and one of the fuel injectors I put in ended up being bad. When I started the car it ran with a dead miss. Pulled the plug on cylinder one after identifying that it was the cylinder not hitting a pulled out a plug soaked in coolant. I removed all the spark plugs along with the coil wire and injector clips then cranked the engine over with the starter a bit. What came out of cylinder one is partially on the paper towel. The rest went on the windshield and bottom side of the hood.

The head gasket has been blown since I bought the car. That's why it missed at start up. What's bad is now it smokes all the time and misses at low RPM's due to the coolant consumption in cylinder one. I think when that bad injector was installed it somehow caused more damage to cylinder one.

I also think it has water in the oil now as well but I cannot confirm that for sure yet. I'm currently weighing my options. If I was able to change the head gasket that would obviously be what I would do. But I don't have the funds and I'm limited on time as well. Whatever I do is going to have to be temporary.

I have no problem shoving a different power plant in it in November or December. I need this thing to run just another 1500 miles or so. It doesn't overheat or anything. Honestly I'm thinking head gasket in a bottle. As much as I'm totally against it I literally have no good long term option.

I can swap it before the end of the year for sure. I've added this stuff...

...and it almost immediately quit missing at idle. So it's looking good so far.

            I followed this video:

Good deal glad you got that sorted out, but on a side note what you plan on swapping in it?

We will see how it goes. So far so good. Keeping my fingers crossed.

                H23 VTEC from Hmotors with a T2W4. That's what I'd like.

This one I already swapped to a 5 speed. But yeah for sure staying 5 speed.

Go ahead. I'm in a good mood. My car is running the best it has since I bought it. And I'm bored with nothing better to do.

However, ask me your question in my MRT and not here. I've done the 134A retrofit about a month to 6 weeks ago and it's still going strong as we speak.

Damn. If I have a blown head gasket already I'm driving off a cliff.

Wait.... really? That stuff basically turns to clay and clogs all of the coolant passages. It works at first to help with the blown headgasket...but, it's a bandaid. And, I have seen it do much more damage than good.

                        Case in point...

A few years back, I bought a 1993 sc300. Previous owner said the car was in good running condition. No sign of head gasket failure at all. A few weeks after buying it, I checked the coolant levels (AC doesn't work that well when the coolant is low). And I find a shit ton of head gasket sealer inside of the cooling system. Turns out the radiator was almost completely clogged and the coolant passages were like breathing through a coffee straw.

Pulled the radiator and tried to clear out the system. Head gasket failure symptoms started showing up like I expected them to. Replaced the head gasket, but there was still gunk in the coolant passages.

Sold the car. Last I heard, the most recent owner grenaded the motor.

Hopefully it works for you though and lasts as long as you need it to. Just a warning from experience.

Just fix it man. It's not all that involved to remove the head, replace the gasket and reinstall. You have to have the funds to do it of course which at the moment I do not. But still yet, it's not worth giving up on it.

It's been three days and 200 miles. The car is running better than it has since I bought it and starts identical to every other Accord I've ever owned with the traditional Honda sound that we all know so well.

The way this stuff works is the copper flakes melt to the remnants of the head gasket where the hole is as they are passing into the combustion chamber due to the extreme heat. Which clogs the hole with copper. As for it building up anywhere else in the system I don't see that as possible as for it to work in any form it has to be exposed to the extreme heat of a combustion chamber. The coolant system isn't ever anywhere near that temperature. It may cause some buildup in locations but not anywhere near enough to clog up an entire passage. There isn't enough copper in the whole bottle to clog up a passage not to mention all of them. I seen how much copper was in the bottle as I mixed it up in a clear jug prior to putting it in. The liquid I'm pretty sure is just water so the copper has something to carry it. That's all this K&W stuff is. Others I can't speak for. But I've seen some of them at the parts stores and I imagine those are the types that do just as you say, the product inside looks thick and syrupy.

As I've said in this thread and in my MRT, I just need this thing to last a little while and so far it's getting me by.

I appreciate the heads up. And an SC300 is a cool ass car. I believe they are 2J's... anyhow the 1J is my favorite engine of all time. I want one in a second gen RX7. As for this head gasket in a bottle and my CB, I'm so thankful that it's working and I hope it can hang on just a little while so I can get another engine in there.

I'm not gonna give up on it, I am just going to be a little vexed if my head gasket is already blown. It's got like 25k miles on it. I had to redo some valves when I got the car cause the belt snapped on the previous owner.

                              Are you constantly adding coolant?

If so drive it on day one as normal. Day two, the next day, when you would be starting the car up for the first time instead pull all four spark plugs. See what you find. Pull the coil wire and all four injector clips off then crank it over with paper towels covering the intake manifold. See what it coughs out if anything. But if your not losing coolant then I wouldn't suggest a head gasket being your issue.

Here is a video taken prior to "fixing" the head gasket. This is before it got really bad.

No man, I never have to add coolant. I'll do that. My intake valves (black box vacuum ones) haven't been opening at all, so I'm guessing it light be intake related. They only open when the car is warming up, which is weird.

My misfire is different than yours. When it's heat soaked, and I go to start it up, it will miss as I try to drive away. Then I'll give it a good amount of throttle till like 4K once or twice and it'll stop.
