Longer 5th Gear ?

What do you mean shaved? To much material on sticking out of the center of the gears? Both or just mainshaft? and do I need machine shop it ? Should the thickness of the F22 gear match the H22 gear ?

Read the link in the 3rd post. Then come back and ask any questions you may have. It talks about shimming and shaving, this depends on the transmission and parts. To my knowledge the H2U5 requires shimming.

The Accord 5th gear is thicker than the 5th gear in a close-ratio transmission. It has to be shaved to make it thinner in order to fit.
