I got a 92 ex coupe m/t. What is the ECT Sensor on the thermostat housing for. The one under the distributor is for ECM to make air fuel adjustments. Right? The small one next to it is for Temp on dash panel. Then there is the one on the coolant upper hose. I thought that one was for the radiator fans. Right? So what the heck does the one on thermostat housing do. In my shop manual it refers to it as ECT Sensor Switch A.

Coolant switch B turns the fan on and leaves it on after the ignition is off. It turns the fan timer on.
The coolant temperature sensor goes to the dash and to the ecu(?)
