header problems

so i was putting my headers on and all that was left was my header on the engine head and to my surprise i cant put them on. the freakin ac line was in the way. does anybody how i can get around that or how did yall do it? all the info would be greatly appreciated.

I know what you're talking about, but all I can tell you is to wiggle it. It should fit. What brand did you buy?

are you putting on the upper part by itself? Dont connect it to the downpipe until its on the head. But a little careful wiggling and maybe some help from a BFH will get'r done.

ya i mean i was there but the freakin ac line was in the way and i couldnt get it on i was mad. i might try it again see what happens

Well then it should definately fit. Unless you have some weird AC line that's a few inches closer to the engine, but that couldn't be cause it would hit the heatshield. I guess just try harder and from different angles. Do it slow like you're actually concentrating and using the force and i bet it'll go in.

Something doesnt seem right i just put in 2 headers this past week and a half and both of them went right in without any problems Both are also 2 peices Arospeed Chrome headers like ones in my sales thread and they seem to be direct bolt it dont know why yours is giving u some shit man let me know something did u install the down pipe first ??? Cause if u go that way sometimes the down pipe needs to be pressured in a bit after put the top in first loose and then on bottom do not put in the 2 small bolt that hold pipe to block bracket , then when youve got the top in and the header bolts on loose then go to bottom and manuver that peice in thats how i did 2 sets and they are perfect ... i guess cause the factory headers are smaller in size than the ones i got but they should fit its not rocket science
