hey it could be off on the timing or it can just be your distributor it might be fualty

busychild..id agree with guru..
you stated that your timing belt looks in good condition, but that doesnt mean it couldn't of jumped a few teeth or more. a compression test will tell you as guru suggested.
i think capone and guru are on to your issue.
when you installed the new dizzy..aren't you supposed to set your timing belt a tdc? maybe you installed your new dizzy with the incorrect timing, or didnt tighten the bolts enough,causing the ignition timing to change?
im just throwing out some ideas for ya..hope you can figure it out

the same EXACT thing happened to me 4 times within a 2 month span. I believe it was the starter and a bad dizzy. Make sure your battery terminals are tight.
here's what happened to me. I was going to school during rush hour and then my tach droppped to zero and was just coasting. it sucked ballz. then it happened 3 other times. Our accords had a recall on the dizzy and starter back in the day FYI.
