    how did this happen?

walked out to my car and the clip that usually is flat was bent out. I don't understand how it could of happened

How much would it cost to replace? Or would I need to replace the whole plastic around the window?

Someone tried to break into your car buddy.
That only happens when someone tries to pull your window out to pop your door locks

Hmm.... Thanks. That does make sense. I wonder if there's such a device for keeping the window in the track when it gets to the bottom. I had that problem with my driver's window right after I installed my windows.

theres a chip in the edge of the window to the right of the clip... it could possibly have been a theft attempt, replace it and be careful.
