i know this thas been covered but on this case is different. everytime i turn my car on it has this bouncing rpm shooting up and down. also when i drive it is fine but as soon as i get to a stop light it does the same thing ( wont idle ).but the weird part is that im looking for the idle control valve and is not there. also the engine is a f22b dohc so the only search ive got was covered on the single cam. i checked sensors vaccum lines i even cheked my throttle cable to see if it was too tight. any ideas i would greatly appreciated. heres a pic of the engine, maybe it helps.

Yeah. There's a thread in the DIY section of the site. Do a search for it and it'll tell you how to clean it out. And you may also want to tighten the FITV. Hopefully this will help. My car used to act like it was going to stall, then rev to about 2k RPMs, drop to nearly stall, revt o 2k, etc. That happened until I swapped the IACV, FITV, and air boost/starting valve off my old motor onto this motor. Now my motor only revs to 1k.

It is most likely your Fast Idle Valve.
The wax inside dries out, causing the bouncing RPM. It is common on older valves, and JDM engines that had the coolant drained for long periods of time.
You can try adjusting it, but that is a temporary solution only. It may last a long time, it may not.
