its my buds 95 EX.....the car runs fine except the coolant is boiling and the car overheats. The temp gauge shows no overheating as far as i know. The water pump is brand new, so is the timing belt and the timing is correct. He just replaced the timing belt for the first time (at 170k miles
). Lemme know what you guys think, i think its either the coolant temp sensor, thermostat or radiator.

How do you know the car is overheating....If the temp gauge aint reading hot then its still normal. Or are you saying your temp gauge dont work. Coolant is suppose to be hot and whatnot sinces its liquid under pressure traveling in an engine that is running around 220F or whatever.

Ahh ok the reservoir is a diff story. Id check cap also and a t-stat would cause that too. Do both of your fans turn on when you turn on the A/C? If they do that excludes the fans.

its also posible you might have some air in the system, if nothing else run the car with the ratior cap off, and add coolant as needed, it should buble out the top a little bit. that should take care of that if thats the problem.
