1 lil problem....

ok i got muh h22a in my car and i finally got around to wire it up.... =-) ok so now i tried to start it last night adn it cranked adn it started but then it was all like rough.......and it turned off couse this be my spark plugs.....? or cables or is it off time......? i would realy apreciate the help guys.......i miss driving muh car so please help with any information.....thanks the dizzle

your going to need to provide more than that...by that description, it could be 143 different things

could be the plugs, wires, distributer cap, etc. Might not hurt to narrow it down a little for us. What does that tach read when its running rough?

this is gonna take awhile first off do you have any check engine lights on?

yes i do have a check engie light on when i try to start it......ok to narrow it down i turn the key and it starts adn it runs for a bit and it but my car shakes like crazy.......and it turns off.......the distributer is new....its almost like if my car is runnin out of gas but there is fuel running thru

ok i start the car and it cranks and it turns on.....but only for like 3-5sec. and it back fires adn my car shakes like crazy.....i have all the wireing connected nothing is left unpluged except for the sensor that goes to my down pipe i beleive is the knock sensor......but it wants to start.......

try to find out what code it is and also please show us in pictures of how you have the sparkplug wires in which order its in on the engine and distributor cap.

if it starts, shakes, then cuts out...could be fuel filter or something ive been experiencing lately--the fuel pump/relay...might also be plug/firing order.

probably firing order, when i did my plugs wrong the car started and ran but like shit, could it be that the H22 relies on such high compression that it didnt have enough momentum to stay running, so it stalled out? just be positive that your firing order is correct and go from there
