    distributor off 180 degrees? wtf? pics*

    so yeah I aligned the mark on the flywheel to the mark in the V on the block.

    I took off the disributor cap and I see this.

    Is it off 180*? or what. uhh.

    You see if your rotor is pointed at the number one spark plug wire? or basically the number one position on the distributor?

        Yep, its 180 off. You need to turn the crank over one more time.

            weird. no wonder youre getting a crank position sensor CEL.

            so you never touched the timing belt or anything right?

            i wonder how that could happen... you sure the tip of the dizzy was straight when you bolted it on? the dizzy sat flush against the motor?

            which dizzy is that, the one from the coupe or sedan? if sedan, was it running well before you took it out, or was it getting the same CKP CEL ? maybe somebody flipped the tip of the dizzy over...
