what is a good idle setting 1,000? 800? 500? i noticed my dads 02 and 03 accord are about 900-1000.

    800..700

mine is about 750. when it gets to 600 i re-adjust it.
What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

u can put it that high if u want...in the engine there are lables that says what the idle should be...what i said is what it should but u can go higher...i just had a problem with shifting into reverse.

how many turns to the left should it be if you close the screw all the way to the left?

i noticed a high pitched sound with the intake and the radiator fan always turns on, is that normal? my idle bounces and i only did two things, 1 adjusted the idle screw 2 added coolant

That screw was never meant to be adjusted. If your idle gets low for a week or so, and then starts to bounce, it's a Honda thing.
