the "dogbone" pice is metal,its not going to look fucked up unless you got in an accident and bent it.the rubber inside gets cracked and brittel,fallsout etc.it had 3 rubber arms if there cracked or gonereplacethe mount.i got mine for cheap money.but the rubber goes not the metal.
