    driver's window turbulence

Well I got the new motor and regulator in, and it goes up and down strong, but like sometimes it goes up and gets stuck at a slight angle... and it just doesn't wanna go up smoothly... and I don't think it's the regulator, I think it's the slides the window rides in.

Could there be something fuggled with the guides since it sat with the window stuck up so long?

The window needs to be adjusted on the regulator just right. You need to follow the step by step procedure from the helms manual. If you already did that, and you're sure you did it right, then I don't know. Just my 2 cents.

haha i had no idea there was a procedure... see there was no old motor/regulator, and I didn't have the book.

Well I found one bolt to be going through a slot in the door to the regulator, so I fiddled with it and I got the window to go up and down real nice. It's awesome having the use of this window now!

well for the moment I got it to work. Turns out, the rubber in the slides are all fugged up in about 3 places, front and rear of driver's door

because I've heard on here that honda doesn't sell those parts that I need... of course

                  x2..and at Advance Auto.

Mine used to go all the way up and stop at an angle..silicone spray stopped that, now it goes up just as it did from the factory, and alot faster

Take into account the information in this thread, it's good. In addition, the window rubber trim if it's torn/worn can cause window turbulence, buy new and install it and/or repair it.

guys... i found out what's wrong. The rubber track on the front part of the driver's door, inside the door is mangled/broken. So my window stays up until I get a new door.... son of a bi***

my buddy has the same exact car with a few differences, and he has the same problems.

of course all 3 other windows work great
