    axle keeps breaking help

ok last year i lost my reverse and drove it like that and had the tranny rebuilt by Factory5motoring... I heard alot of good things about these guys, they build alot of fast honda! so i decided to let them rebuild it, they took it apart and found 5th gear chewed up and said thats why i lost reverse, so they put in carbon plated synchros and new 5 gear. it cost me all together $1300
i drove it, had no problems!
3 weeks later, after work i was making a right turn and bang the axle broke! the inner boot.. so i took it to work left it to saturday paid my boss $130 to fix it... the next day i made another right turn and crack made a terrible noise looked under car and the inner boot twisted wit a little rip, took it home!
monday i was driving my car wit the the woman and her little boy and it broke again didnt make it to work had the car towed to my house, took it all apart and replaced all the ball joint lower control arm bushing tierods and found the passenger tension bar was stripped, i replaced it put new tension bar bushings both sides and new axle...now i drove fine for 2 weeks and today leaving the store in a bad area i made a right turn and bang it sounded like it broke and was banging on the car it wouldnt go forward or reverse, i rev'd the engine nothing but banging noise my daughter said turn off the car, jumped out tried to push it back into parking space... some lady offersd to help puh it of course i said no thank you and this guy came and helped me puh it into parking space as he walked away he said thats fucked up you have a nice ass car. now made calls had my kid picked up, checked under car didnt see nothing broken started it up ,no noise WTF i jump in it and put it in gear and it moved forward so i drove it home didnt make no right turns
WTF is wrong wit it? dont want to drive it no more! going to have it towed back to factory5
SORRY FOR THE BIG ASS STORY

Damn, sorry about the luck, that's no good. Maybe it's how you're launching and shifting? When I first started learning to drive the 5 speed I busted the axle while on the road back from the shop. VERY bad launch, clunk...couldn't move at all. It was replaced and haven't had any issues yet. But, since it started after the rebuild...I would think it's their fault. Maybe adjusted the tranny for racing situations...racing axles able to handle it but no good for stock. I don't know. Get it back to Factory5 and tell them what's up.

are you running stock 4th gen axles? only reason i ask is because some try to use prelude axles when they do h22 swaps...

Sounds like something could be binding whenever you turn. Jack up the car and do it in the air see what happens. ghetto but it works make sure no one is standing in the way though.

sounds f'ed up to me dude. i'd say builder error. normal driving conditions shouldn't do that by any means. even if you were learning to drive a stick. first off 1300 is quite expensive to do a rebuild. you could have gotten a decent import lsd tranny cheaper than 1300 online or thru an importer. i think you got screwed there first off. i think you should make the builder take a closer look at what they done and possibly even compensate you for the expense they have already caused.

you could of bought a tranny from the yard bro. but sorry to hear your axles are messing up. maybe some performance ones would be nice. my bearing is shot in my driver axle, but it still drives. got to get it replaced soon tho. on turns it makes an annoying sound.

Try finding a VTEC trans in the junkyard really rare since most of them are prob taken.

yeah i talkd to them today and told them everything and they said to bring it in.... as for the price, it was actually 1150 repaired and installed all new synchros... i checked around another h22 tranny but they where all over $700 used... they charged me $900 to rebuild wit carbon plated synchros and $250 for removal and installation....
the other $150 was for a 91 4dr accord lx.. wit blown motor and i have my old f22a6 motor which im dropping in soon
but after the H22 Accord gets fixed im selling it!!

Which axle keeps breaking, passanger side or driver side? Cause the passenger side is the only side where the axle sits directly inside the tranny. So that should tell you something. Driver side plugs into the intermediate shaft, so if that was breaking, it would have little to do with the tranny one would think.

Why would you sell the H22 accord? Looks good by the way.
