    relocating a/c lines

since A/C is a most this upcoming summer(FL), how would making new lines work....

say for intense, you could use EARL teflon piping and fittings, would that be do-able?, and would i have to measure the same length as the piping(the low-pressure line that runs in front of the manifold); or could it be any length as long as its pressurized as normal

what would be the technical aspect of doing this? cause i was thinking that i would run those types of lines along my firewall or ziptie it across my valve cover and/or upper coolant hose

one more thing, since i cannot use my power-steering hose wont work w/a f22b DOHC, would this method be feasable(sp?) as well?

as long as you use piping that can withstand the pressures that those lines will be seeing, i couldnt imagine custom made ones causing any problems. im sure theres websites out there that talk about things to consider when bending your own A/C lines...

has anyone tried this yet, i know it would be expensive(i looked it up at about 120 for about 5-10ft), but it would solve all problems w/turbo apps

yea maybe i should search it but yea just askin....

ok now basic question: what psi does the components sees?
        a/c
        power-steering

i want to source lines that will handle what they see normally, or a point in the right direction; searching every tech manual i have but came up w/nothing

bump, i'm really pondering about this and still getting nothing when it comes to actual pressure ratings(psi) that the lines sees, but i had an idea, i'll try it out 2morow

would hook up that refill for refrigerant on the low-pressure hose give me a reading?? mine came w/a pressure tester, gotta go did it out

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but isnt the high pressure side around 350psi?

i hope not, or my idea is gone to shit

but i'm more looking for the low-pressure rating; its the hose that runs right before the headers, running under the upper coolant hose

but i looked up earl's MAX pressure rating and there a hose thats 350psi MAX, so i hope the lower hose is much less then this
