    Crack Head?

Heres the deal.. I have a '92 thats driving me up the wall right now and I am somewhat confused.... It all started when I noticed coolent boiling over in the reservoir shortly after I filled it in the rad while the car was cold because it was a bit low.. So being the person I am I can't have that with my vehicles so I procede to figure out whats going on.. I fill the rad to the brim again after it cooled off and fired it back up to see bubbles and more bubbles so I shut the car off and check the oil.. It's fine and clean as new.. So I then got out my coolent pressure tester and pump the system up to 13 psi and let it sit for a few mins.. no leaks... But theres a definite constant foreign pressure coming into the cooling system from somewhere while the car is running.. So I broke out my cylinder leak down tester to see what I got.. Every cyl to my suprise tested 95% and the 100 psi pressure from the test did not blow the bubbles I was hoping for in the cooling system.. So this is the lowdown for me right now...

    - I'm not overheating just boiling over & have constant bubbles in my coolent

    - I can not detect any leaks from a cooling system pressure test or a cyl leak down test

    - I definitly have a foreign pressure being forced into my cooling system

Do I have a crack head?

only way to determine a crack in the head is getting it pressure checked.

There are a few 3 blocks from me. But as mentioned the proper way is to pressure test it. If you have a suspicion to where it is you can use alcohol and see if it seeps through. I think it was alcohol that was thin enough to seep through but forgot.

I know that the best way would be to take the head off and have it checked.. Guess thats something I'm going to have to do.. Just sucks that the car ain't smoking, Overheating, and keeps showing good on my compression and coolent pressure tests.. Yet constant bubbles in the damn coolent..

could a blown headgasket be leaking pressure into the coolant system while still not mix the coolant and oil?
