Nice find! I want mine in black. Vinyl, cloth, or Ultrasuede?

when i did my 300zx i had to take off the old foam to bare cardboard.....thats the only way it stuck.

also 3m super 77 or even super 777 spray glue is the shiznick.
the stock vinyl is very stable, it will likely never come off of its backing. i did this with black ultrasuede (did it twice actually, used the wrong glue the first time, argh) and i love the result. the a/b pillar covers come off just by pulling on them, except at the very bottom of the b-pillar (where it is covered by the lower cover) where there is a single screw holding it in. the c-pillar is a bitch to get out due to the fact that you have to take the seat belts out to get it out. bear in mind this is all for a sedan, i have no clue about coupes.

edit: i just read all of the post i quoted, and i have to disagree. i used super 77 the first time and it almost all peeled in 3 weeks. i got loc-tite heavy duty glue from jo-annes, however, and its not coming off any time soon!

Question. Can you use leather dye on the headliner safely? i have used it before but idk about on this leather.

Thinking of doing mine, just need to go to the fabric store to see what designs they have.

I did mine when I was doing some sound deadening, because the original owner poked a couple of holes in it. I went with a color that matches the interior, just love the look of it.

And here it is two/three years later, no sagging and still clean!
