      Lookin Great dude!!

      Love the F20aDOHC engine.

OEM FTW!! Keeps the pure, reliable and unadulterated feeling also.

How much was it by the way for the engine and excluding transport and just transport alone? Is it the same computer, wiring harness, engine mounts etc? Just plug and play?

Yea, pretty much plug and play. The correct ECU is the PT2, but the PT6 will run the engine and control the IABs. The only consequence of running the PT6 is that it is made to run a 2.2 not a 2.0 so it may run rich depending on how much the o2 sensor can play a role in adjusting A/F ratio. Plus, you aren't going to get the performance out of the PT6 you could get with the PT2. That's why I'm tuning with a AEM FIC controller for both nitrous, and N/A settings.

The engine and transmission shipped to my house was less than $700 but I have spent more than that just in refreshing the new engine to the condition it was when it came out of the factory. This engine is pretty much brand new now and in stock form would easily run for another 100,000 miles without needing any sort of repair and such other than routine maintenance.

The swap is almost identical to a JDM F22B DOHC swap. Everything is pretty much the same.

          Wow thanks dude.

The swap is definitely unique and the pictures does show it to be essentially brand new.

I agree this engine will last and being a Honda it may even go further , definitely pay you back more than you spent on it.

Did you do anything to the pistons and chamber or left that alone? If you touched it was it rebored?

The piston rings and cylinder walls look virtually brand new being that this engine had about 30k to 40k miles on it. The engine is in "new" condition for sure. The next step will be to throw a 75 shot of nitrous at it and have it tuned. Then later, like next winter, the motor will be coming out again, for some new...goodies. Cylinder head ported and polished, bisi level 2 cams, intake manifold and throttle body will be upgraded, and a lil more.

            I can't wait.

Sounds like a great plan and definitely a mighty fine build there.

Its going to be so fast V8's wouldnt know what happened. They will wonder if they either forgot to press the accelerator or they put their car in reverse...lol

New idea for intake setup. It should be sweet, and work well. Check the first page.
